Back Lake Powell and Horsehoe Bend
Last updated: 2007
Lake Powell is a vast reservoir on the Colorado River, popular for boating, kayaking, and houseboat vacations amid dramatic red rock scenery and hidden canyons. It offers a unique blend of water-based recreation and desert landscapes, making it a favorite destination for outdoor enthusiasts.
Horseshoe Bend, located near Page, Arizona, is a breathtaking viewpoint where the Colorado River curves in a dramatic horseshoe shape around a sandstone escarpment. Easily accessible via a short hike, it’s one of the most photographed natural landmarks in the American Southwest.
Unfortunately I lost original pictures long time ago when my computer crashed and only low resolution photos are available.
