Bosnia and Herzegovina
Last updated: 2022
Bosnia and Herzegovina offers a captivating blend of East and West, with historic towns like Mostar and Sarajevo showcasing Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian architecture, rich cultural traditions, and warm hospitality. The country’s diverse landscapes range from scenic mountains to rivers and waterfalls, ideal for outdoor activities like hiking, rafting, and skiing. Still relatively undiscovered by mass tourism, Bosnia and Herzegovina provides an authentic and affordable travel experience steeped in history, nature, and resilience.
I have been to Bosnia and Herzegovina twice. Places visited: Brcko, Bijelina, Sarajevo, Mostar, Visegrad, Blagaj, Sutjeska National Park.
