Back Misiones
Last updated: 2026
Misiones is Argentina’s lush northeastern province, famous for its red-earth landscapes, subtropical rainforest and spectacular waterfalls. Its main attraction is Iguazú National Park, home to the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls, while the province also offers lesser-known waterfalls, jungle trails and remnants of the historic Jesuit missions. For travelers, Misiones is a great destination for combining dramatic nature and wildlife with cultural heritage, especially on a road trip through Argentina’s northeast.
